Our Portfolio - Wine Farms
Babylon’s Peak
Babylon’s Peak winery, situated in some of the highest weathered granite slopes of the Paardeberg mountain, is privately owned by the Basson family who has passed down the tradition, passion and art of winemaking over four generations since 1919. Fourth generation, Stephan Basson, has been farming these Swartland vineyards since 2003 when the Babylon’s Peak brand was born.
Boland Cellar
Situated in the beautiful Paarl Valley, Boland Cellar has been part of South Africa’s wine industry for almost 80 years.
Our wines are inspired by nature. Just as each vine grows in harmony with the soil, the sun and the wind to produce grapes of unique character and quality, each of our wines are crafted with collaboration to bring you the very best the Boland region has to offer.
Bonnievale Wines
We make wines that reflect the slopes, soils and climate they come from, for people who enjoy them. This pursuit is the endeavour of many people and many years. The communities deep-rooted in wine growing for generations are a proud part of the Bonnievale wine brand.
The Bonnievale story and the winery itself came about through the collaboration of local farmers and was initiated in the early 2000s. These farmers understood that a region’s best and most enjoyable wines can only be made with the widest selection of fruit from a vast terroir.

Perdeberg Wines
Established in 1941, Perdeberg Wines is situated in the third oldest town in South Africa, being Paarl. Perdeberg uses small berried, intensely flavoured grapes from low-yielding dry land bush vines on rich, diverse soils across a number of microclimates to create premium wines of excellence and difference.
The Dry Land Collection Range is testimony to this. Together with the age old traditions of Dry Land viticulture, Perdeberg’s Dry Land Collection wines are a fine display of the ability of bush vines.
Rockbelt Ridge
Rockbelt Ridge wines are the dream of native African, Dan Mosia, from the Basotho nation. His dream was to farm his own land, produce wine grapes, and craft his own wine out of the rocky African soil in the Robertson Valley. He crafted this magnificent wine with the input of a local farmer and winemaker and proudly shares it with you.
The rich, red, limestone-based soils underlying our vineyards at Rockbelt Ridge are what makes our farm of the Robertson Wine Valley so special. The soils found here are perfectly matched to grape growing, giving our fruit an individual character that is distinctly Rockbelt Ridge and the wines their unique and delicious flavours.
Slanghoek Winery
This cellar lies in a picturesque valley, surrounded by the majestic Slanghoek mountains, from which the valley and cellar derives its name, and is situated between Paarl and Worcester, a mere 4km from the Goudini Spa holiday resort and 90km from Cape Town. The valley’s geographic position, altitude, varied soils and microclimate are reflected in the unique character of Slanghoek’s internationally renowned and prizewinning red, white, sparkling, dessert wines.
