Jason’s Hill Private Cellar is tucked away in the heart of the Boland at the foot of the Slanghoek Mountains. With its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate the very best of grapes are produced for making award-winning wines.
As first ever winner of the Landbou Weekblad Woman Winemaker of the Year Award in 2004 and Diner’s Club Young Winemaker of the year in 2003, Ivy du Toit made name for herself at a very young age.
The Du Toit’s wished to create a brand that was linked to the farm and its grapes. Jason’s Hill Private Cellar originated from the farm’s name, Jasonsfontein. The first wine was made in 2001 in a brand new winery Jason’s Hill Private Cellar.
